   Mission and Purpose

The philosophy of the Adult Education Program is to provide for every adult learner the privilege and opportunity to become self-sufficient.

The purpose of the A.E. Program is to teach individuals the correct procedures, skills, and attitudes necessary to reach their full potential as productive citizens in today's modern, technologically advanced society.      

Perry County Adult Education (A.E.) program, offers FREE instruction to adults.  Anyone 18 years of age or older is eligible.  Students may learn at their own pace.  The relaxed and caring environment helps students gain confidence as they work toward their personal goals.

• Employability/Workforce Development Skills
• ESOL
• Adult High School
• Basic Computer Skills

2006 GED Test Center Testing Schedule*

The Tennessee Technology Center at Hohenwald is an official General Education Development (GED) Test Center approved by GED Testing Services of Washington. The test is given monthly at the school.

An official practice test is REQUIRED before taking the GED test.  Please call (931) 589-6411 or (931) 796-7524 to schedule this test.
