The Buffalo River Longbeards received three honors at the state National Wild Turkey Federation awards banquet in Crossville on Saturday, January 9.  For the third year in a row, the chapter received Golden Gobbler status based on percentage for the 2009 banquet.  The Longbeards also placed fifth statewide for net dollars generated, and first in the state for sponsor members.

Longbeards President Mike Andrews said, "We are so proud and thankful of the hard work that has been put forth, and especially for the continued support of this community.  None of this would be possible without the wonderful people fo Perry County."
